In the last 24 hours Maris Gold, Crouchers Vicar's Vice and Rogue American Amber Ale have all gone on tap. The Amber Ale is good and a little surprising - instead of some big hit of American hops, the emphasis is on toffeeish/biscuity malt and lots of bitterness. (Ok the bitterness is quite American but the result is far more austere than most of us associate with American beer. But then again, it is characteristic of Rogue.)
