Basis of our experiences over the last couple of years, this is an excellent afternoon out and, historically, has involved meeting at Wellington Rail station, buying group day tickets (4 persons travelling on the network for the day for $20 i.e $5/head), getting the train to Paraparaumu, then having a coach to take us to and from the brewery. We're still working on the travel arrangements but last year the coach cost $10/head. We also made a contribution to Tuatara Brewery of $10/head toward beer and a sausage sizzle. The likely travel time out from WLG would be about 1pm, with a return (arriving back into WLG) sometime close to 7pm.
Demand for places (there are only 40!) is likely to be strong, so we would encourage you to book your place quickly by using the Contact Us page. SOBA members will take priority on the list, guests only being accepted in the unlikely event that SOBA members do not take all the seats.
