Planning is under way for the SOBA Matariki Winter Ale Festival on 26th June at The Boatshed on the Wellington waterfront.
I have started this thread to create a forum for discussion of ideas, suggestions, feedback and questions about the festival. Please feel free to join in.
Although we have received several offers for chilled tap dispenses, I would still like to see as many handpumps as possible at this event.
At the Homebrew Fest we had about 5 or 6 beer engines I'm hoping we can get the same for the Matariki Fest. Mine has been resident at Hashigo Zake since it opened but I will be getting it back for this.
The portable chillers will be good for setting up a separate bar area away from the main Boatshed bar hopefully this will help reduce the crowding and queuing on the bar.
Just went to buy sometickets for this event, the only payment method you have is paypal?
In that case is there anywhere i can pay cash to?
You can use a Mastercard or Visa in paypal, meaning you don't have to transfer funds. If tickets aren't pre-sold by the event date then we will have ticket sales on the door.
